JAN D. MCCORMICK is a native of Oyster Bay, New York. Ms. McCormick graduated cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1983. Ms. McCormick graduated from The Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C., in 1986 and was admitted to The Florida Bar in the same year. Ms. McCormick also received a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami. Ms. McCormick is a member of The Florida Bar and American Bar Association. Ms. McCormick concentrates her practice in corporate and entity structure and planning, business transactions such as stock and asset sales, mergers and reorganization, state and federal tax audits and tax planning, ERISA and employee benefits. Ms. McCormick has lectured and written articles on these topics. Ms. McCormick enjoys an AV rating, preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0, from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.
